Natural cooling refers to technology that does not use cooling equipment or compressors to cool the air. The amount of natural cooling available depends on the local climate, and the annual natural cooling range is approximately 100 hours to more than 8000 hours. The two most commonly used natural cooling methods are groundwater or surface water cooling and outdoor cold air cooling.
